Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading undertakes to:

• treat your personal information as strictly confidential;
• take appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure that your personal information is kept secure and is protected against unauthorised or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction or damage, alteration, disclosure or access;
• promptly notify you if we become aware of any unauthorised use, disclosure or processing of your personal information;

We will not retain your personal information longer than the period for which it was originally needed, unless we are required by law to do so, or you consent to us retaining such information for a longer period.

Although SIBO Trading undertakes not to use the data for any direct marketing purposes, it does however consider to offer clients a newsletter in future, but this will only be sent to clients if they sign up for a newsletter.

Warranty Coverage:

Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading warrants its customer that the goods which have been supplied and delivered to the Customer shall be free from manufacturing defects with reference to the materials used and workmanship for a period of fifteen (15) years from the original date of purchase, which warranty applies strictly only to:

• Structural integrity of the 316 stainless-steel body;
• Internal cartridge and valve mechanisms under normal domestic use; or.
• Factory-tested components that fail under normal installation and use conditions.

NOTE: the warranty claim will be investigated by SIBO Trading and due to the long period of the warranty, SIBO Trading holds the right to decide at their discretion, whether the product will be repaired or replaced or whether the customer will be refunded the purchase price.

NOTE ALSO: In order to claim in terms of this warranty, the purchaser, will have to submit the following to the retailer or distributor from whom the product was purchased, who will inspect the product before approving any claim:

• Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt);
• Photos or videos of the fault or defect; and
• A detailed description of the issue and proof that the product was installed by a certified plumber.
• Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading shall not be liable or responsible in any way for any damages of whatsoever nature, including incidental, indirect and/or consequential and penal damages (including water damage and any loss of use, or installation /removal costs), caused by or due to any defects of the goods, unless such damages can be attributed to any circumstances reasonably within the control of Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading.

The warranty shall immediately be rendered null and void in the event of any of the following:

* Any alterations or modifications or addition made to the goods supplied, without the prior consent of Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading;

* Failure to use goods in accordance with the installation and maintenance instructions and specifications supplied on any of the products; * General misuse and abuse of goods

(More specifically:

Installation Requirements

• Installation must be performed by a certified and licensed plumber and must comply with all national plumbing codes and local water authority regulations.
• Ensure that water temperature does not exceed 60 °C.
• Ensure recommended flow pressure of 3 bar.
• Not exceed 10 Nm torque when tightening connections.
• Avoid excessive bending of hoses during installation.
• Use copper slip lubricant on threaded fasteners to prevent seizing.
• All installation manuals and documentation must be provided to the end user at handover.

Cleaning & Maintenance Conditions

Proper care and maintenance are essential for warranty coverage. The following instructions must be followed:

• Clean regularly with clean water and dry with a soft cotton cloth.
• Only use gentle liquid detergent, colourless glass cleaner, or non-abrasive polishes.
• Do not use:

o        Abrasive cleaners or polishing powders.

o        Acidic or corrosive detergents.

o        Harsh chemical cleaners or bleach.

• Ensure all cleaning residues are removed and the product is dried thoroughly.
• Failure to follow these cleaning guidelines may lead to surface damage, which is not covered under warranty.;

* Any damage caused by fire, flood, civil disturbance or act of God;

* The client not having its original Tax Invoice available to be supplied to Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading.

  What is not covered under the warranty (i.e. Exclusions):

• Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, neglect, abuse, or accidents.
• Corrosion, discolouration, or surface damage resulting from improper cleaning or exposure to harsh chemicals.
• Damage from excessive water pressure, temperature above 60 °C, or water impurities not removed prior to installation.
• Alterations, disassembly, or repairs by unauthorised persons.
• Products used in commercial, industrial, or public environments unless otherwise specified in writing.
• Normal wear and tear of seals, washers, or decorative finishes.
• Damage caused by connecting the product to an incompatible water heating system or continuous flow system outside specified parameters.

Refund:

The Customer should choose carefully. We do not normally give refunds if the Customer simply changes his/her mind or make the wrong decision. The Customer can choose between a refund, exchange or repair, where goods are determined as defective within the warranty period or within 7 business days the goods are wrongly described, different from the sample shown to you or do not perform. We may charge a handling fee if the return is accepted by management.

Delivery:

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading obligation to deliver goods shall in all cases be subject to the following:

(a) If Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading arrange a delivery on behalf of the client, it will be at the client’s cost depending on the area of delivery and the risk of handling the goods will be on the client as soon as the goods are placed on the delivery vehicle. The client must arrange their own insurance in this regard.

(b) Whilst delivery times are given in good faith and Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading will use every endeavour to comply therewith, no responsibility can be accepted for any loss or damage incurred by the Customer on account of any delay in delivery arising out of any circumstances beyond Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading’ control, which circumstances will include, but in no way be limited to:

* Any delays in the supply of goods by Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading’ Suppliers which cannot be directly or indirectly attributed to them;

* The client changing their order within days from delivery;

* Any delays in freight services beyond Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading’ reasonable control;

* If the balance of the purchase price payable on delivery is not payable on date of anticipated delivery. Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading will communicate unavoidable delay in the delivery.

Availability of Goods in Stock:

Whilst we will endeavour to have all goods as advertised on or website/pricelist in stock, no responsibility can be accepted on account of any goods advertised in the website/pricelist not being in stock arising out of any circumstances beyond Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading control, which circumstances will included, but in no way be limited to any delays in the supply of goods by Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading’ Suppliers which cannot be directly or indirectly attributed to them. Please contact our offices before placing any orders.

Cancellation:

Meir Wholesale (Pty) Ltd t/a SIBO Trading require a deposit of 50% to confirm the order of the goods. We may impose a cancellation fee in the event of cancellation of the order before delivery. The fee will depend on the nature of the order, the length of notice of cancellation before delivery, the reasonable potential to find alternative clients for the order and the reason for cancellation. No refunds on deposits in the event of cancellation for already ordered/made Special–Order Goods.
