Joan stands behind this quality promise and proudly offer a 15-year warranty from the date of original purchase.

This warranty applies to:

  • All 316 stainless steel taps, mixers, and shower fittings.
  • Body, spout, and internal components are manufactured from 316 stainless steel.
  • Products installed in residential or light commercial environments.
  • If an item says 304, we do not recommend this item be installed outdoors.

Conditions of Warranty

To ensure your warranty remains valid, the following conditions must be met:

  1. The product must be installed by a qualified plumber and in accordance with local plumbing regulations and our installation instructions.
  2. The product must be used only for its intended purpose (e.g., potable water supply) and under normal operating conditions.
  3. The product must be maintained and cleaned correctly, using mild, non-abrasive cleaning products and a soft cloth.
  4. The product must not have been altered, modified, or repaired by anyone other than an authorised service agent.
  5. Proof of purchase must be provided when making a warranty claim.

This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by incorrect installation, misuse, neglect, or accidental damage.
  • Surface discolouration or “tea staining” caused by environmental conditions (such as salt, chemicals, or pollutants) – this is a natural cosmetic effect of stainless steel and does not affect performance.
  • Damage from harsh or abrasive cleaning agents, acidic cleaners, or tools that scratch the surface.
  • Normal wear and tear, or issues resulting from water pressure, water quality, or plumbing system faults.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product is defective and covered under this warranty:

  1. Contact our customer service team with your proof of purchase.
  2. Provide a description of the issue and, if possible, photographs.
  3. We will assess the claim and, if approved, repair, replace, or supply parts free of charge.
  4. Any associated labour or removal/reinstallation costs are not covered by this warranty.
